We start
with our Organic soap base (Organic Coconut oil,
Organic Palm oil,
Organic Sunflower oil) to which we add the therapeutic grade
essential oil of Patchouli. I substituted Castor
oil for the usual Olive oil, because I wanted a whiter bar of
soap for the greatest contrast with the blood-
red Hibiscus flower petals that were pressed into the
soap. An aroma like Patchouli deserves a
little extra drama!!
Patchouli helps ground the
overactive mind. It has long been considered an
aphrodisiac, by relaxing and re-establishing the connection to
one's senuality. Patchouli is also thought to be a
bringer of prosperity and abundance. Patchouli is
antiseptic, antibiotic, and antifungal, but its primary usage
is for oily skin and stimulating the growth of healthy
hair.
